The majestic Viking Longship Gymir is set to join the fleet in 2022, named after Aegir, a Norse god meaning 'protector' or 'engulfer'. Aboard, guests aged 55-70 will be treated to European river cruises with 190 passengers enjoying cultural experiences, relaxation, and optional excursions. Delicious meals are served in the Restaurant on Deck 2 and the Aquavit Terrace on Deck 3 offers a lighter option and evening tasting menu. 95 staterooms are available, including 2 Explorer Suites, 7 Verandah Suites, and 39 Verandah Staterooms, all with added perks in the suites such as laundry service, early check-in, welcome champagne, and binoculars. The sundeck is the perfect place to relax with outdoor seating, a walking track, and outdoor games. Entertainment is provided by a keyboardist, local entertainers, game nights, and dancing.
