Budapest, the Queen of the Danube
Budapest is the capital of Hungary, and is settled around the Danube River on both sides. Take a cable car to Old Town, where you can learn about life in the city as far back as the Roman Empire at the Budapest History Museum. Want more history? It’s everywhere. Head to Trinity Square, where you can visit 13th-century Matthias Church and climb the Fishermen’s Bastion for amazing views of Budapest.
